Product Description

Studded Tube and studded Fin Tube are used to enhance convection heat transfer outside the tube. In order to avoid excessive ash accumulation and affect the heat transfer effect, in addition to the mandatory burning oil and oil and gas mixed burning should be set up soot blower, but also according to the scope of studded fin tube use should be correctly selected nail head tube or fin tube. It not only receives the radiation heat transfer from the radiation chamber, but also absorbs the convection heat transfer from the high temperature flue gas. The surface heat intensity of the furnace tube is very high, sometimes even exceeds the heat intensity of the radiation tube. These two or three rows of furnace tubes are called shielding tubes, which can only be used as light tubes, and can not be used as nail head tubes and fin tubes. The heat transfer coefficient of the medium in the convection chamber of tubular furnace is generally much greater than that of the flue gas outside the tube.

The material of nail head and fin tube should be selected according to the calculated temperature of nail head and fin tip. In addition, it should be considered that the thermal expansion coefficient of the nail head and fin material should be the same or similar to that of the furnace tube, so as to avoid the nail head or fin peeling from the tube wall after multiple starts and stops. The welding between nail head and furnace tube is usually by submerged arc spark welding or resistance welding. High frequency welding or brazing is generally used for fin and furnace tube welding. When the furnace tube is made of chromium-molybdenum steel or the nail head and fins are chromium-molybdenum steel and chromium steel, the measures of preheating before welding and heat preservation and slow cooling after welding should be adopted to avoid the cracking of welding roots. Due to the large thermal stress during the nail head welding, when the pipe is heated by highly corrosive medium, the nail head pipe welding should be stress-relieving annealing treatment.
