U-type tube Heat Exchanger is a shell and tube heat exchanger. Shell exchanger can be divided into fixed tube-plate, kettle floating head, U-tube, sliding tube-plate, stuffing box and casing type. According to the U bend tube type of medium, pressure, temperature, dirt and other conditions, tubesheet and shell connection of various structural characteristics, the shape of the heat transfer tube and heat transfer conditions, cost, maintenance and inspection is convenient to choose the design and manufacture of various shell and tube heat exchanger. The difference between u-type tube heat exchanger and other shell and tube heat exchanger is that the tube is U-type.
U-pipes are commonly used to transfer heat in process fluids with large radiators. The fluid is pumped along a pipe, then through a u-junction, and then back along a pipe parallel to the inflow line. Heat is transferred to the wrapping material through the wall of the tube. This design is used for industrial applications where a number of u-pipes can be poured into oil containers containing a high thermal capacity.
